Though putting up with the stench of hundreds of pre-teen males was hard to bear, most Halo fans would agree that the permanent nasal damage was a small price to pay to see the Warthog.
The Warthog was quite an impressive piece of machinery, not only was it scale and intimidating but it is also fully functional. Yes, it could be driven (no, we weren't allowed) though the weapons weren't live (yes, we asked). There's a video on YouTube if you're interested.
