The first time I played this series was back on the PS1 and then later I was lucky enough to have the dreamcast and the version they released on it. I was very happy to see that they were releasing soul calibur on xbox live arcade and then when I found out it was the dreamcast version that was even better.
Playing the game it was just as I remember, fast, fluid and looks great even given how old the game is. I was amazed how small they were able to make the download (about 130mb I think from memory) yet not really lose anything.
The only down side is that the game runs in 4:3 on my widescreen LCD TV, but its only a small issue from what is otherwise a great game.
Enjoy!
