Why water fails.

OK, so if you read my blog called, "Work, dammit!" you'll probably know I struggle with productivity working from home at times. (Well, ALL the time)

With TV, a 360, and having a job that is pretty much typing and math all day - Who could blame me?
People made a couple suggestions to how to increase my productivity, and I listened. ...That wasn't very smart.

 

"Should" is a four-letter word.
Today I'm going Boy Scout. No, I'm not tying knots and being touched inappropriately - I'm being as good as I can.
It's going to be about what's suggested to gain "Optimum Performance". ...I can already tell it's going to suck.

6.30am: Damn it's early. Gotta get up to go into town. *Yawn!*

7.02am: Porridge for breakfast, with a carrot juice. Your body is a temple!

8.06am: Ok, so I know I shouldn't... But I'm having a pie. Stupid unfulfilling healthy breakfast. If my body is infact a temple - it has mince foundations.

8.31am: Start coding. The office is stuffy.

9.42am: A little sleepy. Had a bottle of water. It sucks. Water's not coke.

 

10.15am: Yawny as. Productive though.

10.20am: Filled bottle for a 3rd time. It sucks. Water's not Beer.

10.43am: Kinda Ill. Water's good for you my a**! Not very productive if you're always in the toilet.

11.39am: Feel nauseous. Got a lot of work done so far - but going to end healthy living test. Might go get curry. Oooo, and Coke. Ended up going to the bathroom like, 6 times before lunch. WTF?

Conclusion: Being in an office setting helps greatly, but water just doesn't cut it. Coding requires a certain amount of Caffeine and Pie.
