Born 26th of July, 1981 - Phillip Derek John Wickliffe entered the world at almost the stroke of midnight. Raised in Porirua, he went to Katoa Kindergarten, then Porirua School where his teachers thought of him as a student with great potential. Phillip had a keen interest in writing, and spent many of his hours playing video games whether at the local dairy with classics as Xaind Sleena and Golden Castle or at home with his trusty Sega Master System II. Wonder Boy III: The Dragon's Trap still remains one of Phillip's favourite games.

Phillip, or by this time "Phil" enrolled in Viard College, excelling particularly in Mathematics in his early years, but losing interest in his academics towards his senior years.
By this time his interest was more on spending time with his friends, drinking alcohol in large quantities, and the female students of Viard College.

He managed to easily pass 5th and 6th forms, but made no effort at the 7th form and failed to get bursary.
Leaving school, he decided not to further his education, but to gain employment - to save for tertiary education and also have a break from study.

He spent the majority of these years working in kitchens as a dishwasher, and was unable to save much as he still liked to drink, and worked with some rather attractive ladies to boot.
Being fed up with his own inability to save, Phil decided to study, and completed his first two Natcoll diplomas, took a year off to work, then completed a third.

After working with flash for a year, Phil decided to leave his job and create his own flash games full-time from home. At the moment of writing Phil has had four games sponsored.
