Don't miss out on these blogs!
Best of the Blogs is a new weekly feature that aims to highlight some of the best blogs of the previous week for your viewing pleasure! So without further ado, here are our top blogs of the last few days.
Blog #3: Desperate Fanboys by our own Donutta
In this blog, Liam puts Sony fanboys under the spotlight in the wake of the recent Square Enix event DK Σ3713, and touches on the lack of exclusivity for FFXIII and the supposed betrayal of the FF fan base by SE for taking it multi-platform. He also covers the tendency for some professional game enthusiasts to incite some of this fanboy behavior by overhyping specific events and announcements. That’s just a snippet of the total post which is well worth the read.
Blog #2: Work, dammit! by stupidlikeafox
A more light-hearted blog, stupidlikeafox begins on a sugar-fuelled search for the key to productivity in live blog-style, detailing his day that starts out on a sugar high and ends sometime around 3am from what I’m guessing was one almighty sugar crash.
Blog #1: Has the Internet made me dumber? by Julio_Hyksos
In this blog Julio takes an interesting look at his gaming habits with adventure titles now, and how they’re impacted by having a vast source of information in the form of the Internet only seconds away. This blog raises some interesting questions in regards to how we as gamers treat more cerebral gaming experiences now that we have access to sites like GameFAQs and Google. Definitely worth the read.
That concludes this week’s Blog of the Week; make sure to check back again next week so you can stay current with the best that our myNZgamer blogs have to offer!
