Little Dudes is back for a special Zelda visit!
I've been playing a lot of Phantom Hourglass lately. But certainly not enough. To say I'm enjoying this game is to say the sun is sometimes hot. This game is absolutely magnificent. A dream.
Playing the game makes you wonder why other developers have never taken such strong advantage of the DS's hardware - and I'm not just talking about the touchscreen, no. The game looks incredible, and the cutscenes are gorgeous and plentiful - if Zelda can do it, why isn't anyone else? Do developers fear a game with technical depth would be lost on the audience?
I do certainly hope that Phantom Hourglass will herald a new dawn for what developers will do on the console. But don't colour me wrong! I love what library of games I've played for the white kit so far, but Hourglass is an example of what more could be done.
Meanwhile, if a little dude garbed ceremoniously in green walked into your house, and smashed your pots to steal your hidden treasures, would you be OK with that?
