Xbox 360s Ring of Death

Why the Hell! does Micrsoft have the Ring of Deaths on nearly all the Xbox 360's.
That is just down right stupid. I mean do you see Playstation 3's have overheated system.
And why do Microsoft have some many components for the Xbox 360, that is just wasting too much money. I wreckon there losing money thats why there including so many components.
Ring of Death is the Three Red Lights showing on your Xbox 360 that show your Xbox 360 uis overheated. Now the only information provided on the internet says that you should send it to Microsoft to have it fixed.
When my Xbox 360 had the Ring of Death I was like "What The Hell! whats wrong with my 360" as I have never seen that in my whole life, well until 360's were out in stores.
I got a free 1 month membership with Xbox Live which is pretty sweet but then our Warranty went up to 3 more years so thats pretty cool.
If you send it over to the states it cost to have it shipped out for like $140, now that sucks, I think we sent ours to the one in New Zealand somewhere.

Whats really sad is how the masses of 360 owners have put up with the worst piece of gaming hardware ever created. It is truly shambolic how that console was rushed through development, for the Sole reason of getting a head start on there competitors with Microsoft thinking they could treat it like an OS and patch it later.
I hate to say it but I can see alot more of this comming through with the release of the NXE

Heh I'm yet to have a RROD. I wonder when it's my turn. But I'd rather have a 360 and play heaps of awesome exclusive games and online experience with a slight chance of a RROD than a PS3 that works and has no games I want to play...
What are the "exclusive" games you have mentioned that makes the 360 worth the trouble?. I'm surprised someone hasn't organised a class action law suit aqgainst them. It's poor quality product that's caused the problem, they replace them under warranty or repair them and it's happening FAR too often for it to be ignored. Microsoft really do pat their customers on the back with one hand and slap then in the face with the other!That's what I already said

Lol, yeah, For a company who is rich I ought to thought that there consoles would be more efficient workable. Don't trust the stuff posted on the internet as it does not work but all it does is just wrecks your 360 even more.

the fact that the machine, while not working, has been programmed to tell you it's not working is funny.
does it really need the red lights? wouldn't just not working be enough?
microsoft were obviously aware this would happen so made it user diagnosable.

The problems sound unrelated and probably coincidence. He buys a fan to stop it overheating and the dvd drive stops spinning. Dvd drives stuffing up is common on pretty much all disk based consoles.Not sad, but ironic. Forza, PGR4, Halo 3 GOW 1 & 2, Ace Combat 6, Saints Row, Fable 2, Ninja Gaiden 2. And other games that are on PC but not PS3 such as COD2, Left 4 Dead, Mass Effect... Idk why M$ hasn't fixed this problem yet. I think its quite neglectful, i guess they are just putting all their money into making sure the next Xbox doesn't RRoD
