Capcom Reveals RE4 Date

Gamecube owners looking to get the next instalment of the Resident Evil before Christmas, we have some bad news for you. Capcom's highly anticipated Resident Evil 4 will not be released in 2004.

"Resident Evil 4 will ship January 11, 2005." (US Date) a spokesperson for Capcom stated. As a collective groan from Resident Evil fans around the world, hoping to get their hands on the title in 2004. Resident Evil 4 features some of the most impressive graphics ever seen on the Nintendo console.

Resident Evil 4 sees the hero of RE2, Leon Kennedy on a quest to save the President's daughter from a group of kidnappers based somewhere in Europe. Leon quickly discovers that the village where she is held is under attack by crazed village folk.

No official release date for NZ from the local suppliers, but as always NZGamer will keep you informed as news comes to hand.
