Final Fantasy VII Spin-Off Site Live!

Square Enix has opened a teaser page for its upcoming PlayStation 2 game, Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII. The page currently briefs visitors on the main list of employees working on the game but as yet gives no information about the game whatsoever.

The game is currently being developed by Yoshinori Kitase, the producer of Final Fantasy X and the movie Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. Its director will be Takayoshi Nakazato, who worked on FFVII and FFX, among other titles. The characters will be designed by FFVII's Tetsuya Nomura, and Yusuke Naora is on board as the art supervisor. Composing the music for Dirge of Cerberus will be Masashi Hamauzu, who worked on Unlimited SaGa, Final Fantasy X, and other games.

Square Enix still hasn't revealed what genre Dirge of Cerberus will fall under, and its release date is still undetermined.
