Shown at E3 this year was Backyard Wrestling 2: There Goes The Neighborhood. Developed for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox systems, Backyard Wrestling 2 will put you into a whole new type of gameplay only rivalled by the original Backyard Wrestling. Backyard Wrestling 2 will be released near the end of this year.
Backyard Wrestling 2 will feature quite a new few modes, and will have inclusions to the game such as online mode, where you are able to take our opponent on over the internet, and the USB Headset will also be able to be used. Graphics will be improved over Backyard Wrestling, and there will be a new 'Enviro-Mental' gameplay engine. Create-A-Wrestler will return this year, with more clothing, tattoos, face paint, text, the options are endless. There will also be a new wrestling system allowing submission holds, specific body part damage and a new defense system. Mix all this in with deeper gameplay than last year, including a 'quest for the belt' mode, and you should have a fine game indeed.
"Backyard Wrestling 2: There Goes The Neighborhood, places gamers deep in the heart of Small Town America. Backyard Wrestling Inc. has announced "your town" as the location of its first live pay per view. They've put a million dollars cash prize on the line for the wrestler who's got what it takes to destroy every obstacle in their way to the main event and ultimately the unified BYW championship."
"Defeating the most hardcore backyard wrestlers will not be enough; as the lure of "easy money" has attracted the attention of the most violent professional wrestlers to ever set foot in a ring. When hardcore backyard brawlers, chair swinging backyard babes and blood thirsty professional wrestlers choose your town as their battlefield...There Goes The Neighborhood!"
