NZGamer.com 'Writer of the Year' 2010

We’ve quickly passed through yet another year, and it was not only a huge one for gaming, but NZGamer.com had many, many articles; all written from our team of top quality writers.

We’d like to take the time to thank all those that have written for us in the past year, and would like to announce that our second annual ‘NZGamer.com Writer of the Year’ is Sam Prescott.

Sam has helped immensely over the past 12 months, from writing some of our best reviews, and has taken all opportunities to get hands-on opportunities with games both locally and at overseas events such as GCA 2009.

In addition to Sam’s blog with his thoughts, he also had this to say; "Getting NZGamer.com Writer of the Year is an honour and I'm pleased to get recognition just for showing up and doing what I love: writing about games."

We’d also like to mention our runner-up for the Writer of the Year, which was Angus Deacon, who also over the past year gave us top quality writing and enthusiasm for all aspects of working with NZGamer.com.

We’re now focused on making 2010 the best year for NZGamer.com yet. We’ve got some huge plans in the pipelines, and we’re looking forward to showing them to you.

Finally, a thanks to everyone in the NZ gaming industry, as well as all our loyal visitors, we wouldn’t have been able to do this without you.
