Too Human Available Today

The wait is over! "Too Human," the epic action role-playing game from famed development house Silicon Knights, launches in New Zealand on 28 August 2008. Available exclusively on Xbox 360, "Too Human" is available for RRP of $99.99 and rated "M" for Mature.

Forging an extraordinary union between cyberspace and Nordic mythology, "Too Human" enables players to take on the role of the cybernetic god Baldur as he confronts an onslaught of machines threatening to exterminate mankind. Along the way, gamers are treated to "Too Human's" intricate character customisation features which enable virtually endless combinations of weapons, armour and cybernetic enhancements across five distinct character classes. Players can also engage in the action online through seamlessly integrated cooperative gameplay over Xbox LIVE.

In "Too Human" Silicon Knights employs a dynamic camera, groundbreaking motion capture techniques, stunning visuals and a powerful orchestral score to set a new cinematic standard for action RPGs. "Too Human" offers the combination of enthralling gameplay and mind-blowing aesthetics that defines next generation gaming on Xbox 360.

As an added bonus, gamers can now experience the fifth instalment of the "Too Human" video diary series, available for download on Xbox LIVE Marketplace. Silicon Knights director and president Denis Dyack, director of design Henry Sterchi and director of content Ken McCulloch provide insight into the origins of "Too Human," including origins of the storyline and how it ties in with Norse mythology. The video diary also includes the final instalment of the documentary titled, "The Goblin Man of Norway," where the researchers continue to discover secrets surrounding the mysterious ancient technology.

my meh is based on the blatant pounding that we've recieved over this game. its like rugby. the more i see it, the less i want to.

The modern dictionary of slang and teenage expressions defines "Meh" As an expression of discontempt, boredom or unintrest.

... Guess I'm one of the few who bought this game. How can you base your judgement on what you've heard and read! thats like saying I'm a criminal cause i shave my head and have tats... I'm ashamed NZG fans you should know better!
The game plays smoothly, combat is fluent which is a great step forward for the action-rpg genre.

might *hire* it if i got nothing to do, but the sheer bombardment of too human makes it hard to be enthusiastic about this game. heard more about it that gtaIV when that first came out!

It's not a bad game. I would certainly agree with the issues that have been brought up, but overall it is a solid and mostly fun game.
P.S Turn the dialog off on the World Serpent stage. Thor gets really annoying.

I'll give it a whirl, and I'll reserve absolute judgment until that happens. Maybe Paddy'll have to teach me, I don't think it interests McPhisto much.

That's okay Ysolla. I wouldn't mind jamming out some multi player on McPhisto's new LCD screen. Has it arrived yet and if so, has anyone been able to pull him away from?

Are all games released going to be advertised as a news item? Or just the ones advertising on the front page?

..aaaand here comes the ban-hammer again.
