SEGA Announce New House of the Dead Title

After teasing the unveiling of a new title based on one of their original franchises at the Leipzig Games Convention, SEGA have announced The House of the Dead: Overkill for the Nintendo Wii. SEGA look to be sticking to their House of the Dead formula with players assuming the roles of Detective Washington and Government Agent “G”, to shoot swarms of mutated beings and over-the-top bosses in their respective faces.

Released alongside the announcement was a cheesy 70’s horror flick style trailer (as seen below) showing off a few zombies getting shot and something with more arms than necessary. All up not much is known about this House of the Dead title so we’ll keep you posted as more information becomes available. I’m personally pretty excited for this announcement as there’s a serious lack of awesome Wii zombie-shooting titles, hopefully SEGA will deliver with this one.
