PS3 Platinum Titles Coming Aug 1st

Although it was always going to happen, Platinum Hits for the PLAYSTATION 3 are now official. Coming August 1st, and retailing for $60, the following titles will be on offer:

- Resistance: Fall of Man
- Motorstorm
- Uncharted: Drake's Fortune
- Heavenly Sword
- Ratchet and Clank
- Virtua Tennis 3
- Assassin's Creed

A further ten titles have been promised by the end of the year.

David Reeves, head of SCEE, said on the matter: "If you're a longstanding PS3 owner with gaps in your collection – or perhaps you've just joined the family – the PS3 Platinum range is your chance to pick up some of the very best games at a wallet-friendly price."

Indeed, for $60 you can't go wrong with some of those titles. So what do you think? Will you be picking up any titles you missed? Let us know!

HA HA HA, oh now i see why Eb suddenly dropped the prices of the above games. Is that yellow gonna be the color because that writing is in spanish.

I've been wanting Uncharted: Drake's Fortune and Assassin's Creed. Did they ever fix the bug in AC?

Bro rent those two games first as you proberly will finish them withen a week easily, and thats if your casual. But said ga,es are both mint and shouldnt be missed.

Hmm, might have to grab Resistance at that price. Uncharted and Heavenly Sword are bargins at that pricepoint.

Never liked the silver platinum cases sure as hell don't like the yellow cases
