Breaking: Nintendo Announce Pikmin Wii

During a recent E3 developer roundtable, Miyamoto and Nintendo revealed that Pikmin is in the works and on the way for the Wii. When asked about "core" gamers, Miyamoto replied that core gamers were someone who enjoyed all games, regardless of genre, as long as they were good. When asked about the possibility of Pikmin, Miyamoto responded (through a translator) that they are currently making Pikmin.

Obviously, this is breaking news, so little is known outside that announcement. But keep it locked to NZGamer for more information on this announcement as we get it!

Wow, this is great news. The last pikmin games were great.

Pikmin 2 is one of the games on my to buy list, and i love Pikmin.

I was really annoyed that this wasnt in the actual press thing, so this is good.
