DC Universe Online Debut Trailer

Today, at the end of their press conference, Sony announced DC Universe Online. Developed by SOE-Austin for the PlayStation 3 and PC, DC Universe Online is an action game set in the DC comic universe. DC Universe Online will give players the opportunity to fight alongside some of the more prominent heroes in the DC universe like Batman and Superman or against them with arch-villains like the Joker.

DC Universe Online will feature a distinctive art style thanks to the project's executive creative director, Jim Lee, a physics based combat system where the world is your weapon and the ability to custom create your own super hero / villain. DCUO looks like it has a lot of potential, both good, and bad.
