Motorstorm 2 Details!

At the PlayStation Day in London, more details on the sequel to Motorstorm were announced.

Calling itself Motorstorm: Pacific Rift, the new game promises a whole heap of improvements on the solid launch title. Creative Director Paul Hollywood says the game will have "ultra-agressive AI" and the environment itself will now play a major part in races:

"The island is now your greatest enemy, challenging you to hack your way through thick vegetation; teeter on the edge of towering cliffs; plough through tropical waters; and escape the deadly volcanic interior."

16 tracks and 20 vehicles will be included in the game, which will apparently hit stores this Christmas - but keep an eye on that release date, it might very well change.
