GTA Midnight Launch Madness!

The day finally arrived. After a delay of several months, Grand Theft Auto IV is now in the hands of lucky Kiwi gamers.

Armed with an assortment of GTA merchandise to give away, we trudged down to Cuba Street to check out the midnight launch at the local gaming outlets.

Wellington fans were excited to get hold of their pre orders, the stores packed with the excitement of the impending release that will take us all back to Liberty City.

Hundreds of Wellingtonians turned up for the event in the central gaming stores, which went down pretty smoothly – there were no drunken fools heckling the gamers this time round at least, as happened last year for the Halo 3 launch.
