Game Critics GotY Announced

Game Critics, a group of some of the most influential games journalists have picked their Game of the Year. There were a number of strong contenders for the award in 2007, with the panel choosing what they deemed as the top ten best games of 2007.

The game that won it was the critically acclaimed BioShock, a game that takes storytelling in games to another level, but most importantly has a brilliant atmosphere. If you would like to know more about BioShock, be sure to check out what our very own Tristan has to say about the title.

"BioShock truly shocked, amazed and pushed all sorts of boundaries for gaming. And while we felt it was 2007's best title, we're betting its influence will extend well beyond 2007," gushes Dan Hsu, editor-in-chief of EGM magazine.
