Eye of the North Delayed in NZ

History repeats itself. Just like how Guild Wars: Factions was delayed due to a shipping error, so has Guild Wars: Eye of the North. Exclusive to EB Games, Guild Wars: Eye of the North was originally set to release tomorrow, the 31st of August to tie in with the worldwide launch of this highly anticipated title. Now, however, according EB Games the title will appear on shelves on Saturday, or early next week.

Were it to be released on Saturday morning, it wouldn't be too much of a problem as it only puts New Zealanders out by 12-15 hours when timezones are taken into consideration, but when dealing with shipping delays, it is always wise to expect the worst.

Expect to see Eye of the North on New Zealand store shelves sometime next week.

It would appear that this shipping error has affected Australia too. Please be aware that if you do not wish to wait the undetermined time you can also buy the game via the in-game store using a credit card.
