About the Book:
Novelisations usually suffer the same fate as video game adaptations of blockbuster movies - they fail to capture the spirit of the source material and are rushed and created by folk with no real inclination of delivering a quality product. So it may surprise you that we find it very easy to recommend any Star Wars fan to read Karen Traviss' novelisation of this terrible movie.
The Clone Wars novel is well worth your time though at 250 pages it won't take much of it. It fleshes out what the movie shows us by adding a layer of character depth which was sorely missing from the movie. It is the better of the two mediums, and considering it's priced the same as a movie ticket, you'd be better off settling for the book.

I would love to give this to my nephew he is a huge fan, I have even managed to convince him that i was a stormtrooper in Empire strikes back and I that i am tight with George Lucas. Giving this book to him would solidify my position as number one uncle

There's a book??? I always try to read the books before I see the movies because I never enjoy a book after it's been movietised. Perhaps it's because the visual images from the screen take precedence over my own imagination. I just wish I'd know the Star Wars books were available before I watched the movies. I'll definitely be in to read this one first!

Haha you should see my book shelf. I am a self confessed Star Wars geek (I've just finished the Legacy of the Force 9 book series),and I absolutely love the extended Star Wars Universe. I haven't got this book but would love it to add to my historic knowledge of Star Wars! Hook us up! :-)

I'm one of the biggest Star Wars freaks in NZ. I got alot of old school SW books and I'm wanting to see how the novel of the film is. And Karen Traviss is one of the best SW authors out there, just wanted to say that. Love her work.

Hmmmm ... a bookcase solely for Star Wars books, another for Star Wars games, a spare room double-cupboard and two desk drawers full of Star Wars merchandise, and even more Star Wars merchandise stored in my car boot (the only reason it's not all on display is because it's too time consuming to dust it all!) ... I think you might call me a slight "fan". Adding The Clone Wars items to my collection is a no-brainer ... I'm surprised George Lucas hasn't already sent me a copy personally. ;o)

I think I deserve the book, because my name is Luke and I think star wars is awesome, I have been a fan for years. At least once every fortnight someone says to me randomly "Use the force Luke" or "Luke, I am your father".

My son would absolutely go wild over this novel 'STAR WARS THE CLONE WARS' as he is crazy over Star Wars. He and his best friend talk Star Wars, text and chat on the computer Star Wars every day. He has posters all over his walls, door and even on the ceiling of his bedroom with a Star Wars duvet bought by good old Mum. His old videos have just about expired through constant watching. I would love to win this book for him as it may keep him out of my hair for an day or two while he reads this Clone Wars novel.

I have never watched any of the Star Wars movies, and I know almost nothing of the storyline. If I were to win this novel, I'd read it then be encouraged to learn more about the Star Wars series... If it's good...
