Best Game for me in the last two years

As I look at the pile of games stacked next to my computer that cost me a sh*tload of money$$$$$$$$$$$$ I was wondering why it is I only play the same few all the time????

So which game is my all time favourite, and keeps me buying new games in the hope that a new one will superceed it?

It took me awhile to decide which game was top last year. Last year saw great games like Super Mario Galaxy, The Orange Box, and Assassin's Creed. But, after some thinking it is time for me to name what I thought was the best game came out in 2007.

And the winner is... Bioshock

Bioshock has one of the deepest and most intriguing stories I've seen in a long time. It redefines what a first person shooter can do. While I did have a blast paying the above mentioned games I have to say Bioshock kept me interested the ENTIRE way through. I am looking forward to the inevitable sequel and it's a must have for anyone who is a fan of video games.

My question for fellow NZGamers is

How big is the pile of games you own?

What is the one you play or keep going back to?

I don't put my games in piles. I shelve them horizontally. It's above average in size :P

I play Halo 3 over and over again but not the Campaign but the multiplayer. I have a huge range of games.

The pile is too big, with even games that haven't been opened. I'm going to sell the old sports titles like FIFA, NBA and Madden.

The PS2 collection it a bit big for my liking but its going down slowly but surely.

PS3 libairy is finally starting to expand, and like Ron I just trade in old sport titles to new sport titles.

Oh and as for best game Ive played over the last two years.......well thats a tough one as there has been many games that shout out awesomness.

But if my left one depended on it, I'd have to say Uncharted. Simply because its pure FUN!

single player: uncharted

if you google the paragraph about bioshock it comes up on other site. the site is indexed but you can no longer get to the blog that its stolen from.
