I feel Soul Calibur 4 isn't a game where the word 'bosom' can be applied. I've always felt that was for a woman of a 'certain age'.
Soul Calibur does, however, have breasts aplenty, as every good beat em' up should do. Now, this is not a complaint a la Fat Princess feminism hate - rather a perplexed observation. The observation runs thus:
While Soul Calibur has already had a very good physics engine, this one is even better but breasts still manage to bobble in the most un-realistic fashion. Bobble is the only word for it - it's not really a bounce and they continue to do it while the rest of the character is completely stationary.
Tell me boys - does this really toast your waffle? How many young boys entered the world of men expecting boobs to wobble this way? Imagine the disappointment on their little faces if they did...
I understand - to a point - the enlargement of womens assets in these sorts of games. Men/boys are the target audience and the main players after all, and most of the women that play either a) won't notice b) laugh uncontrollably (and then blog about it) or c) ignore it. Ivy looks like she's had a midlife crisis, chopped her hair even shorter, and gotten a boob job. A bit like Posh Spice really. Seriously, her breasts look like they've been glued to her chest. I can't even begin to imagine the extent of her back problems.
All that said, I'm addicted to the game. Improbable bust movements aside.
