Rant on Music

I usually throw some music while i'm going through a lighthearted gaming session (usually CS;S, WoW). Sometimes I like just throwing some Metal in for those intense PvP fights in WoW, or some Trance / Infected Mushroom for those gruelling Instances.

 

But I do find that having music while in Call of Duty World at War really taints my efforts to get any good kills in where I hear someone to the left of me and kill them etc. Though somtimes in WoW I feel like i want to listen to the in-game music and ambience just to enhance my experience in Azeroth.

 

I guess I like listening to music alot mainly because I'm immersed in music all the time, when i watch TV, go to school. And also namely because I own a Guitar and a Bass (looking to replace my Guitar :P).

I agree that WoW does have some amazing music and sounds that really work with the game. But then again the sound of a horse running through snow being followed by a rabbit... Not the best sound to listen to for any length of time. All in all I prefer listening to the games music as it usually works better with the game than anything else I could add

The Chrono series probably has my most favourite ever in game music. Especially Chrono Cross - Another Termina. It's just so lively and happy!

I don't play my music when I'm playing. I listen to what the developers have created...unless it's trash like Excitetruck. Man that is some nasty sh*t.

if you have played the game before and know what your doing, chuck on some heavy fast paced music (system of a down or static-x are good for this!) it'l help get you going faster in the game and may help make you more trigger happy :P

I used to play wow, quit b4 lich king. I used to use some Pendulum for pvping and just metal for boss fights.

As I'm a 360 gamer, I generally make use of the music player built in, not always on full volume, but I usually have something going that I can hum to, to ease tension.

Although I strongly approve of your Infected Mushroom taste, I can't say I approve of a short blog that doesn't seem to have any point or description of why you like the music you're listening to. Does it make you feel relaxed? More involved? You've got room to improve, and make this Blog long enough to be worthy of 3+ stars.
